Here it is all covered up, glad I painted my toes last week!

It's right below my big toe.
So here is the story.
I was putting a fence post in the ground so I can get my garden fenced in and planted, it has to be the 7 foot ones so the blankety blank dear don't eat my garden! It had rained the day before so the ground was nice and soft, I was wearing my goloshes, which I know now I probably shouldn't have done, I usually wear my boots, but i thought the ground was so soft i wouldn't have any problems, which it did go in and then my right foot slipped off the metal plate on the bottom, it sliced right through the boot and my foot! Ouch! I went inside and took my boot off, I didn't think it was that bad until I saw all the blood and how deep it was. I thought I might need stitches but just cleaned it off and put a band aid on it. There was no way I was going to wake up Madden and have the two boys wait and watch mom get her foot stitched up! So I went about my daily duties of picking up kids from school, feeding them dinner and then wait until Justin got home so I could make yet another trip to the Urgent care, its only been what? 3 trips so far this month! My sweet friend drove me there, I thought I was just going to get a tetanus shot cause it was metal. Well the Dr. looked at it and said that if he can see into it he like to close it! So they cleaned it real good, poked me a hundred times to numb it, and yes the foot is a sensitive part! Ouch again!! Then he sewed 4 stitches, I only felt the last one, ouch ouch ouch! So after that I'm trying to get my pulse down and they come in to give me my tetanus shot, in the arm of course, I though it might be one they give you in the rear. So there you have my little adventure yesterday. My friend also took me to Old Navy they are having a big sale. And then some much needed Mexican food! Probably shouldn't have hobbled all over the store, it was kind of hurting last night. But I feel good today, still had to clean the kitchen, why is it that when mom is injured she still has to do all her chores??
On a big toe relation, when I was like 5 my parents took us to some kid far and they had a big toe decorating contest. Guess who won first place?? Yup! Me with the big toe!!! Something my family never will let me forget! Now my big toe is even bigger!
Stitches out in two weeks! If I would have gone in sooner they could have used the ones that dissolve. lessen learned? wait for the hubby to do the fence posts or wear work boots(I have done posts in the past by my self) and if you have a big gash in your foot(or wherever) and you think you might need stitches-Go!
