Re-cap in pictures

Got a little behind on post there! The kids got a nasty cough cold thing and now I am getting over it. SO here are some pictures of whats been happening the last few weeks.
First may I say, is this not the cutest picture ever??? My two baby's.
Made some homemade granola bars, recipe here.
Made some dog biscuits, it was really simply, if you want the recipe let me know and I will post it.

Oh yeah! Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich, I would have 2 of these a day when I was pregnant with Zander, I have them as a treat once in a while.

Made some crayon hearts for Zanders little class, sorry I forgot the after picture.
And its snowing outside! Crazy! Its actually sticking to!

This is our gold fish that is outside on the deck, his bowl was to stinky inside so I put him outside. He freezes over night and thaws out by the afternoon and is swimming around! this guy is hardy! Its kind of funny, is that bad?
Frozen little fishy!
I have a bunch of sewing things I made but need to take pictures of, hang in there for those!

We adopted!

Meet Dash

He is sooo sweet and cuddly!
He is a Jack Russel mix, I should have named him Russell, cause we have Jack the Jack Russell and then we would have Russell the Jack Russell, get it? Im so clever it makes my head hurt!! HAha! But no the kids love the name Dash, probably cause they loved the Incredible movie especially the little boy Dash, so his name will be Dash Russell Horton!

Once opon a time.....

There was a skinny energetic young woman, we'll call her Cara, she always had her house organized and cleaned, all the laundry was washed and put away, dinner was made every night(unless she went out). She had time to read and do her hobby's. Then she had a little girl, she loved taking her everywhere with her, they would spend hours at Barns and Nobles, her playing with the train set and Cara looking at all the new magazines. They had lots of fun together. The house was still in pretty good order, more laundry to do but it still got done and put away. Then they had to move to a tiny apartment while there house was being built, she was also pregnant at the time. They moved into there house when she was about to pop out the baby, 8mos along. So she didn't feel like unpacking everything and organizing it just right. Then the baby came, what a cutie, and her sister came for a whole month to help her out, what a blessing that was! She was great and helped her with everything she needed. After that it was ok not to hard with 2 kids, she could do it, still did some sewing and crafts, laundry was getting a little harder but still managed to get it done. And so three years went by and Cara had another baby, sweet little thing! And then the laundry tripled and she couldn't ever keep it up or put away for that matter, she found herself not having very much time to herself, I don't think she has read a book since then either. Poor thing! And so this is the way life is going for her now, laundry toys and and a messy kitchen all the time, when she does get it all clean it is like that for only an hour if shes lucky. The other day she was trying to get the house clean but didn't have any toilet bowl cleaner, and they have very very hard water which always leaves a stain. So she used one of her Dr. Peppers(I know right! what if I get a bad headache??) And used that to clean the toilets. She then moved on to the kitchen but the kids kept running into the house with muddy shoes, saying things like"Zander just threw an egg at the play set" "Madden made me get all muddy, forced me into the mud puddle" Really? Your 8 Annalyse, he is 1! Go wash it off! After cleaning up the messes she decides to take a shower, what no soap? Who is in charge of the shopping around here?? I guess I will just have to use shampoo. Thank goodness we still had toilet paper! And so that is her life as of yet, forever trying to get caught up, continually cleaning up messes and trying to find time for reading! She loves her life don't get me wrong, its just frustrating sometimes, but always worth it, she has the best kids and husband in the world! She just suffers from clutter anxiety.
