This is a very different recipe, it has a fried egg in it!! Sounds weird but trust me it is so good! Don't knock it until you try it!! Unless you absolutely hate fried eggs like my dear daughter who will only eat the white part.

Well I still haven't gotten back into regular posting yet. Maybe some day. I'll fill you in on what I have been doing the last couple weeks or so. Here it goes.
Started out fun, Justin's work(usaa) rented out fiesta tx(aka six flags) for all of it's IT employees, they won an award for 100 best places to work in IT. So the rented the whole park!! Crazy! There was about 4,000 people going. We didn't have to wait in line for any rides and we got a free lunch, pretty sweet. The kids have never been and I hadn't been since I was like 15. We only lasted a couple hours, it was only 86 that day, a cold front for us, but it was like 110% humidity so it was sweaty. Everyone had I fun time.
Next up is the great massacre of my chickens. I was gone all day and when I got home and went out to the garden to get some fresh herbs for my spaghetti, I saw dash playing with something fluffy, was it foam all over the place? So I walk over and nope wasn't foam, then I start looking around, the gate to the pen was closed how did it get out? Walk over to the pen see a huge hole in the gate, dead ducks that they couldn't pull out off the hole, walk into the coop, more dead chickens some badly hanging on, what the heck happened while I was gone?? I'm mad now and wanting to shoot the dang dogs, jack looks like he is about to explode he is so fat. Get inside and call Justin, trying to keep it together while making spaghetti, cause I still have to feed my starving children, I tell him what happened, he says he's on his way right now, what a sweetheart! After I get the kids fed I go back outside, I had put the stupid worthless dogs in the garage, I looked around the yard to see if I could see any survivors and take a headcount, I see dead or half dead chickens in 5 different spots, holly crap! Where's the dang gun! I can't believe it!! Justin gets home and picks them all up, kills the one thats half dead and puts it all in the trash, bless that man. They got 6 of them that day, made another hole and got one more the next day, tried putting them in the garden, one flew out the top somehow and jack got another! So I am down to 6. I had 14 and 2 ducks. The end.
After and during some of that drama, Madden gets some bad stomach bug, throw up and diarrhea for 5 days! I was a walking zombie by day 3 and then I feel crappy, but it only lasted a day so yea for that. After he starts feeling better and keeping food down the other two start with an upset tummy, good grief! I am happy to report that we have been throw up and diarrhea free for almost 2 days! The things you get thankful for when your a mother!!
Um.. Oh yea! The part that makes me want to curl up on a corner and cry is that I think we have a little leak in the pool, seriously?? We did everything right! Had someone do it for us!! This can't be happening again!! I only get really upset because it is so dang hot here during the summers and we are so far from town that that's what we did all summer, not to mention all the money we dumped into it!! It's small but we are going to have to figure out how to fix it.
Living in the country is hard.
Being a mother is hard.
Sometimes I just want to quit.
But I don't, I just keep going.
I think I will go and make a peanut butter cake now.
I didn't even get into my health! not that its bad, I just have hormone problems which causes other annoying problems because I have endo, but I'm getting me some new stuff so I should be feeling better soon!! Yea me!
I should also note that just cause I have some hard times or a bunch of bad days, I don't have a bad life, I have a great life and I am vary grateful for it!
Have to wind this up now, Zander is playing Billy the exterminator with his grabbing toy and fake snakes, but now he is pinching people in the butt with it so I have to go before they all start fighting.

Random-again

I'm going to get back on the blogging bandwagon, it's just been sooooooo hot!! Like 105!! I want to shoot my self in the foot hot! Like I should cook dinner on the sidewalk ( if I had one) hot, like there's a heat ray over my house melting and cooking everything to a crisp hot, like..I think you get the message! It just makes you tired and cranky and I don't feel in the mood to do anything!! Couple weeks and we should be in the high 90's, much more tolerable!

Ring...ring...ring...fall?

Yes is that you fall? Are you there? Are you coming soon? I miss you terrible!! Its to hot I cant stand it any more!! Its driving me in sane! I hope you can make it here really soon, I want to wear jeans, I love jeans, and make soup and maybe wear a sweater(I know thats pushing it) and crochet, and be able to take my kids to the park, and eat things with canned pumpkin in them, what I'm saying is that I really really need you to get here before I melt into a puddle of water like the witch in the wizard of oz.
