Memorial weekend

Got a new summer due! Mama chopped it all off!

And did some much needed yard work! We put them to work early around here! She was actually begging to to do it!

I think he had a lot of fun with family and his little friends.

I meant to take pictures of the food and cute things I did to go along with the theme, which was a Circus theme. But like always I got busy and forgot. All in all we had a fun time.

I also found a new home for Jill, I am just not going to be able to have any other animals if I keep her around. I am putting in a pond and I know she will get in there and eat all my fish! So I found a family with two young boys that love big dogs, so they can be rough and crazy with her. Kinda sad but okay with it. When we move I want to get even more animals and she is just not going to work out with that, and I am not one to keep dogs in little fenced in areas or on a chain full time, so we found her a great new home. Jack on the other hand is being spoiled like he used to, And I don't think he misses her at all.
9 1/2 more days of school left! Can't wait until the days when I don't have to get up at 6am anymore!

Is One!

Oh my little Texan! How can it be that a whole year has passed? I was trying to savor every moment! It just went to fast!

You are such a wonderful little guy, so sweet and cuddly, calm and happy yet tough enough to handle all of Zanders wrestling moves on you! I am so glad you came to be in our family you came at the right time, to be Mommy's little piece of Heaven when she was having a rough time last summer. I love you my Chunky Monkey!

I'm rejoicing in my trials-really!

I say that because on Sunday I taught the lesson in RS and the end of the lesson it asks us how we can rejoice in our trials, and of course the teach learn more from the lesson then the pupils.
The last 12 days we thought Justin was having cluster headaches/migraines, and we saw 3 different doctors, tons of meds later, two blessing and nothing would knock it out! So I finally made him an appointment with a neurologist to find out just what is going on. He got in today thank goodness, and come to find out his muscles in his neck are sizing causing it to cramp up and give him a major headache where he cant even open his eyes. So the Doc put him on epilepsy medicine to help with the muscle spasms/seizing. At least we have some answers and now can get him back to work. I don't want to sound like a complainer but having your spouse sick and cant help him in any way and taking care of 3 little kids by my self 24-7, is draining! I really don't know how single moms do it! So of course having all these things going on makes you lean on our Heavenly Father for help and sanity! Which makes us that much closer to him.
Speaking of Mothers I hope all you Mom's had a great Mothers day, I got some real cute things from A & Z that they made in school and primary. I have to thank my own mother for being such a great one, I mean she raised me and all, I turned out awesome, and now my kids are turning out awesome, so thanks mom!
Annalyse had her Bike Rodeo at school last Friday so I will have to post some of the pictures, I was also wanting to put up some recipes, like the Strawberry ice cream one! One of these days! As soon as I get some free time, if there is such a thing! This week I will be busy with mister M's birthday party.

We got a pool!

An ity bity baby pool for the baby to sit and play in. but the two older ones found there way into it and now it looks like three kids in a tub!
They had a blast of course, any time you get to get wet is fun for them.
Did you notice Zander's nose? Yea, he had a run in with a driveway, poor kid.
And did you notice no more curls on the baby's head? Yea, Justin made me cut them off, he looks to old now!

This is for grandma, he has gotten really good at walking this past week.

Other things that have been going on this week:

Justin had an endoscopy to check his esophagus, he has really bad reflux. The Dr. said everything looked really good, thank goodness. The first time he had this done 6 years ago he had cysts all up and down his esophagus, but he has been on Nexium ever since and now on this even better stuff called Protonix which has helped him tremendous.

I lost the last six chickens after putting them in the pen we built. Jill had crashed through the fence and eat them all! I could have shot her, good thing I was not at home!!! I was so mad at her! I don't get why she was so obsessed with getting and eating them! I am on this quest to feed my family the very best and one easy way to do that is to have some chickens for fresh eggs, which are way healthier then store bought. The store where we got them are all out of chicks so I don't know what I am going to do just yet.

And Baby Madden is going to turn 1 next week, can you believe a whole year as passed! I have a cute party theme planned for him, your going to have to wait to see the pictures!

Other then the same old Mommy things that's about it!
