Fruit Bars

This is one of the recipes I got from the Bakery. We made all kinds of flavors, they also freeze well. They are real quick to make.

1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar

1 1/3 cups chopped pecans

2/3 cup butter

2 eggs

Mix everything together, press half of the dough into a 9x13(9x9 if you want a thicker crust like I like it). Spread filling over the top leaving 1/4 inch on all sides. Sprinkle rest of dough on top. Bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Fillings:

raspberry jam

lemon filling

apricot jam

blackberry jam

strawberry jam
