Hs's Awake!!!!

I have had several request for pictures of Madden when he is awake, so I had the camera next to me all afternoon for when the time came that he actually woke up The flash kept making him squint but you can still see his eyes. They were wide awake at 12am this morning everyone but me missed that one!!

Baby Love

My baby love oh how I need your love! (love that song!)

It is instant love! It is so amazing that us as women can create life! I guess this is my late mothers day post, cause I was on the brink of having a baby on the day of!

I am so blessed to be a mother and to be able to have children, I had no idea how much love you could have for someone until I got married and then when I had my first child, and it keeps growing! I feel like it is over flowing over here in the Horton house hold with the new baby I am total in love with this little guy! And seeing Annalyse and Zander grow and playing to gather makes my heart melt. I truly am so blessed to have the wonderful family that I do and I thank the Lord every day for them! So to my Mother, who I think did a superior job with me and all the other mothers out there, Happy Mothers Day!

Annalyse and Zander were so excited to see there little brother, all day long Zander was saying"mama's baby out! Mama baby out!"
Madden J. Horton 7lbs 11oz(my biggest one!) 20 in. And no black hair like the other two! So weird to have an almost bald baby! He is such a good baby (so far!!!)

Sweet Corn Bread

This one is for you Rory! Sorry no picture, you guys ate it to fast!

1 cup of milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 large egg
1 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease bottom and side of round pan, 9x1 1/2 inches, or square 8x8x2 inches, with shortening(or just spray it if its non stick).
Beat milk, butter, and egg in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients all at once just until flour is moistened(batter will be lumpy). Pour batter into pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.

You could also make these into muffins, with or with out muffin papers in the muffin tin.
Before I get to the next recipe I would just like to send a little note to Hanes.

Dear Hanes(and or who ever makes cartoon caricature undrwears)

I love your product I think there great, I do however wonder if you could put the pictures of the cartoons(we have superman and Scooby Doo) On the front of the uderwear. My son INSISTS they go on the front therefor him and I having a struggle every morning about putting the underwear on backwards(I guess he wants to see the picture). If you could just start printing them on the front my son would not run around with his underwear on backwards.
Thank you so much.

Tee Shirt

I found the perfect tee shirt for Zander! It fits I'm to a tee (get it?!!)

About to pop!

That's how I feel! Went to the Dr. yesterday and I am at a 2, so it could be soon, I am hopping for next week, I am getting more swollen by the day and it gets hard to walk on these hard floors when your feet have to much water in them! So I have put my self on semi bed rest just cause its getting hard to do a lot and I have to lay down after awhile, poor Justin by the time he gets home I'm on on the couch for the night, the baby is so low that makes it hard to walk around to!

I don't know what else to blog about that's all I am doing is waiting for this baby to come.
I think that's enough complaining I need to waddle myself around the grocery store, if we could just get a cow and some chickens I wouldn't have to go so much!
On a different note, the picture is the kids eating ice cream, they enjoy it way to much! It has been so hot lately that we have been having snow cones(or just shaved ice) when A gets home from school, that was he best investment buying snow cone maker for a very big very hot preggo mama!
